All white outfit

So I was invited to an Easter brunch this past week and the invitation said to dress festive. I decide to do an white outfit and wanted to wear a big hat. I couldn’t find a hat that I was particularly fond of so I decided to wear this “head piece” instead. This “head piece” is actually a necklace that I happened to discover looks good on my head lol. I love taking piece and using them in creative unexpected ways.

Kardashian Collection5

Spring has finally arrived. I decide to commemorate this gorgeous weather  with a fabulously pink and white floral ensemble. This skirt is from the Kardashian Kollection at Sears. This skirt fits like a glove and the material has the perfect amount of stretch to hug those curves tight. I decided to add different pink accessories to accent the different shades in the skirt. I finished the look with my new favorite trench coat.

I’m definitely looking forward to getting a few more pieces from this collection. If you haven’t already I would definitely recommend you checking out this Kollection at Sears.

The beautiful Shell B and me

One day, about 3 months ago, I was contacted by Shell B of Shellbcheri.com asking if I would like to participate in a styling session with a few other DC bloggers that she was putting together. Before then, I had never met Shell B but was encouraged by my blogger twin, Waverly, to go for it. So then about a month later, Waverly, came to my house went through my closet and styled me in the awesome outfit you see in this post. A week later it was time for the big photo shoot. The shoot was held at the amazing French-American restaurant, Malmaison , in Georgetown DC.

In between picture snapping, I had the chance to chat and really bond with some of the other ladies chosen for the shoot. I have to say that this project could not have turned out any better. I loved getting to know the ladies, especially Shell B. I am so grateful that she and Waverly saw fit to include me in such an amazing project.
Here are some of the awesome pictures that were taken by the lovely Ashley of AshleyinDc.com who played a tramendous role in the success of this shoot and Julien of itsjulien.com who took some awesome behind the scenes shots.
